This is one of the most impressive businesses I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Diana in the office is knowledgeable and very personable. They try to provide same or next day appointments and the tech actually showed up at exactly the promised time - can't remember when that has happened with other services.
I have a 45' diesel RV and most techs just change parts and cross their fingers. Aaron knew exactly what to do and had it working properly in no time - actually better than new. This guy knows AC and did in one hour what most shops would take two days to do and he did it for a fraction of the cost.
If I sound impressed, it is because I am. They also can do or arrange for some chassis work. He also said he can work on some sealed RV roof air conditioners, depending on model. Your local auto repair shop and dealership service department use a system for diagnosing your vehicles AC system that was developed in the 1950's. It Involves vacuuming down the refrigerant or freon in your cars AC System. Then injecting oil & dye into the system with nitrogen hoping to "sniff out" or expose the refrigerant leak with a blacklight when the AC system.
So what's the problem?
It produces a kind of hit or miss scenario that tends to find the big leaks but not small, micro leaks in your vehicles AC System. So the obvious leaks in your cars AC system get repaired but it also means that you get to go back & do it all over again in a few days or weeks.
In 2018 most car ac systems switched to R1234yf Refrigerant (Freon). This raised the cost to evacuate and recharge your vehicles ac system up to 10 times higher than the old R134b refrigerant. If your vehicles AC system is an R12 Refrigerant System (70's & 80's) it can be as much as 50X more expensive because it is not produced anymore. It's like finding gold in your grandfather's garage!
