-
Electrical faults
-
Misfires

The vehicle, repair and working conditions determine what can reasonably be completed at your property.

Mobile Mechanic Service in Havenwood
When your vehicle develops a problem, getting it to a repair shop can add another layer of inconvenience.
A vehicle that will not start may require a tow.
An electrical problem may make the vehicle unreliable to drive.
Even routine service can mean driving into town, leaving the vehicle and finding another way home.
Kool2U provides professional mobile mechanic service throughout Havenwood.
For many automotive problems, our technicians can come directly to your property, diagnose the vehicle and complete the repair there when conditions allow.
This gives Havenwood residents another option besides automatically taking every automotive problem to a traditional repair facility.

Advanced Automotive Diagnostics at Your Home
Modern vehicles depend on computers, sensors, electronic modules and communication networks working together with traditional mechanical systems.
A warning light or diagnostic trouble code does not automatically identify which component needs replacement.
Kool2U provides advanced diagnostics for problems involving:
-
Check Engine lights
-
No start conditions
-
Misfires
-
Rough idle
-
Hard starting
-
Stalling
-
Hesitation
-
Loss of power
-
Sensor problems
-
Electrical faults
-
Intermittent problems
-
Computer communication problems
Depending on the problem, our technicians may use professional scan equipment, live vehicle data, bidirectional testing, oscilloscope testing, current ramp testing, electrical circuit testing, manufacturer wiring diagrams and vehicle specific technical information.
Reading a trouble code gives us information.
Testing determines what actually failed.

Auto AC Repair in Havenwood
Automotive air conditioning is one of Kool2U's core specialties.
New Braunfels and the surrounding Hill Country experience long periods of hot weather, making a properly operating automotive AC system especially important.
Many AC problems can be diagnosed and repaired directly at your Havenwood home.
Kool2U provides service for supported AC problems involving:
-
Refrigerant leaks
-
Low refrigerant
-
AC compressors
-
Condensers
-
Evaporators
-
Expansion valves
-
Refrigerant hoses
-
Refrigerant fittings
-
Pressure sensors
-
Blower motors
-
Cooling fans
-
Electrical circuits
-
Climate control systems
Kool2U services supported R-12, R-134a and R-1234yf systems.
Our proprietary Max Kool AC diagnostic process gives our technicians a systematic method for evaluating refrigerant leaks and other AC system problems before repairs are recommended.
If your AC is blowing warm, adding refrigerant may not correct the reason the system stopped cooling.
We want to determine what actually caused the problem.

Automotive Electrical Diagnostics
Electrical problems can create some of the most difficult symptoms to diagnose on modern vehicles.
A weak battery, damaged wire, poor connection, failed sensor or communication problem can create symptoms that appear unrelated to the actual fault.
Kool2U provides mobile electrical diagnostics for problems involving:
-
Battery drains
-
Starting systems
-
Charging systems
-
Wiring
-
Connectors
-
Sensors
-
Relays
-
Power circuits
-
Ground circuits
-
Electronic modules
-
Vehicle communication networks
-
Intermittent electrical problems
Electrical diagnosis requires testing.
Replacing parts until the problem disappears is not our approach.

Battery, Alternator & Starter Problems
A vehicle that will not start is one of the best uses for mobile auto repair.
Instead of immediately arranging a tow, Kool2U may be able to diagnose the problem in your Havenwood driveway.
Our technicians can evaluate:
-
Battery condition
-
Battery voltage
-
Alternator performance
-
Charging system output
-
Starter operation
-
Battery cables
-
Electrical connections
-
Starting circuits
-
Parasitic battery drain
A vehicle that will not start does not automatically need a new battery.
We diagnose the starting and charging system before recommending replacement parts.

Check Engine Light Diagnostics
A Check Engine light means the vehicle computer detected a problem.
It does not necessarily mean the component mentioned in the trouble code needs replacement.
Kool2U can evaluate diagnostic trouble codes together with live vehicle data, fuel trim, misfire information, sensor operation, ignition performance, fuel system operation and related electrical circuits.
Many Check Engine light concerns can be diagnosed directly at your Havenwood home.

Factory Scheduled Maintenance at Your Home
Routine maintenance does not always require a trip to a traditional repair shop.
Depending on the vehicle and service, Kool2U may be able to perform scheduled maintenance directly at your property.
Maintenance may include:
-
Oil and filter service
-
Engine air filters
-
Cabin air filters
-
Spark plugs
-
Battery testing
-
Belt inspection
-
Fluid inspection
-
Brake inspection
-
Digital vehicle inspection
-
Other manufacturer recommended services
Maintenance recommendations should be based on the requirements of your specific vehicle rather than a generic service package.

Brake & Mechanical Repair
Kool2U can perform selected brake and mechanical repairs through mobile service when the work can be completed safely at the vehicle location.
Supported repairs may involve:
-
Brake pads
-
Brake rotors
-
Brake calipers
-
Belts
-
Hoses
-
Cooling system components
-
Batteries
-
Starters
-
Alternators
-
Selected engine components
-
Other supported mechanical repairs
Some repairs require equipment or working conditions better suited to a shop.
When that happens, Kool2U can help determine the appropriate next step.

Kool2U provides diagnostics, maintenance and repair for many domestic, Asian and European cars, trucks and SUVs.
